Mary has been President and sole shareholder of Pollard & Associates since 1986.  She has been with the Company for nearly 40 years, having worked with Jim Pollard, the Company's founder since 1971.  Mary has been a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) since 1980 and earned her Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) and Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) credentials through ASPPA.  Mary attained her Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA) designation in 2009 which enables her to practice before the IRS on certain retirement plan issues. She has taught extensively in the field of retirement planning, including pension courses for ASPPA and the Maryland Association of CPAs.  Mary graduated from Towson University in 1974 with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology.
